Complete Business Transformation
Clients came to us with a unique challenge: they had found a former restaurant and wanted to transform the space into a nail salon.
The Starting Point
Preparing the space
The existing restaurant space was cleared and prepared for a complete interior renovation and conversion into a new nail salon.
Interior Framing
Building the new layout
RDF framed the new interior layout, creating the individual areas and spaces needed for the new design.
Plumbing, Electrical, & Drywall
Bringing the infrastructure together
The renovation progressed with the necessary plumbing, electrical, drywall, and interior construction work required.
Finishing the Interior
Creating a functional space
With the major construction complete, RDF focused on the interior finishes and details that brought the client's design together.
Project Completion
From restaurant to nail salon
The transformation was complete. What began as a former restaurant was converted into a finished, functional nail salon ready to open its doors.
Bathroom Remodeling
Address the problem. Rebuild it right.
Demolition & Water Damage
Removing the existing tub surround
The original fiberglass two-piece tub was removed after water was found leaking from the drain area to the ceiling below. The existing drywall was also removed where it had been damaged by moisture.
Waterproofing & Preparation
Building a Proper Tile-Ready Surface
After the damaged materials were removed, new insulation and backer board were installed. The joints were reinforced with fiber mesh and thin-set mortar before applying a waterproofing system to prepare the walls for tile.
Tile Installation & Finishing
Durable Materials for a High-Moisture Area
Large-format 12" × 24" porcelain tile was installed with narrow epoxy grout lines to create a durable, low-maintenance surface. The finished shower provides improved moisture resistance while giving the bathroom a clean, updated look.
